President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided over the 21st Cabinet Meeting at the Aguinaldo State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.
The meeting started with an opening prayer led by Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Undersecretary John Castriciones.
The Cabinet members discussed the key provisions of the signed Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN), its implications on government revenues and the prices of goods and services by Department of Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez III; the lifting and easing of restrictions to foreign participation in certain investment areas and activities by National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia; updates on the rehabilitation of Marawi City by Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Chair Eduardo Del Rosario; the status of President Duterte’s legislative agenda; and others.
