Leaders from the ten Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states convene for the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Preparatory Meeting (Prep-SOM) at the ASEAN Convention Center in Clark Pampanga on November 11, 2017.

During the meeting, senior officials talk on the preparations for the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, particularly on the ASEAN Community Building, External Relations, Proposed Outcome Documents and Declarations/Statements of the 31st ASEAN Summit, Publication of Security Outlook 2017 and others.

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Enrique Manalo presided the meeting.
