The Embassy of the Philippines in Roppongi is one of the largest and busiest posts in Foreign Service of the Philippines, serving around 200,000 Filipinos of different professions and background in Japan.
Headed by Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V, a proud grandson of the Philippines’ second President Jose P. Laurel (1943-1945), and son of Jose Sotero Laurel III, who also served as the Philippine Ambassador to Japan (1966-1971), he is committed to bolster Philippine-Japan bilateral trade relations and deepen people-to-people ties between the two countries.
