President Rodrigo Roa Duterte departed Brunei Darussalam after participating in the royal banquet hosted by Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of his Accession to the Throne.

President Duterte was among the Heads of State/Government invited to attend the simple and modest celebration of His Majesty’s 50 years of leadership in Brunei Darussalam.

The attendance of President Duterte exemplified the strong, fraternal and historic bilateral relations between the Philippines and Brunei.
