Located around the Poklonnaya Gora, the Victory Park is a memorial complex dedicated to Russia’s victory over Germany’s Nazis. It is a place rich in Russia’s military history, offering an open-air weaponry and fortification exposition. It boasts a complete collection of armored vehicles, from light tanks to heavy models that fought in Berlin, Germany in 1945.
It was believed that war brought a great tragedy to many people, which is why one can find an Orthodox Church, a Memorial Mosque, and a Memorial Synagogue within the park to honor the people of different religious beliefs who perished in the war against the Nazis.
