The National Museum of Cambodia was constructed between 1917 and 1924, with its inauguration on 1920.

It houses one of the world’s greatest collections of Khmer cultural material that includes sculpture, ceramics, and ethnographic objects from the pre-historic, pre-Angkorian, Angkorian, and post-Angkorian periods.

The museum also promotes awareness and understanding of Cambodia’s heritage, as well as educates and inspires its visitors.
