President Rodrigo Roa Duterte welcomed the top executives from Bank of China in a meeting at the Kalayaan Lounge of Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
In recent interviews, Bank of China Manila Branch country head Mr. Deng Jun said that the Philippines is one of the most important markets of the bank. As such, it will be expanding its business all over the country by setting up more branches in Davao City, Cebu, and other major cities.
Bank of China Manila Branch began its operations in 2002 and has financed several power projects in the Philippines. The decision of its top executives to expand business within the country is due to the improving bilateral trade and investment relations between the two nations.
Bank of China provides a comprehensive range of financial services to customers across China and in 41 countries. Its core business is commercial banking that includes corporate banking, personal banking and financial market services.
