President Rodrigo Roa Duterte spoke of progress and development with the officers and other key members of the Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) during its 38th national convention at the SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang Premiere, Davao City.

“We will establish a central water agency… It’s coming under my term,” the President said and stressed the importance of an effective and efficient water distribution body to a developing nation like the Philippines.

He also held in great esteem the performance of water districts all over the country and specified the Davao City Water District as “one of the best working entities here in the city.”

The PAWD is a non-profit organization of water districts from all corners of the country that advocates and implements policies, standards and programs to ensure effective and sustainable water distribution operations.
