West Tramo, Capipisa, Tanza, Cavite

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, visited the wake of PO1 Enrico Domingo in his home at West Tramo in Tanza, Cavite.
During the visit, the President gave an initial financial assistance of PhP 250,000 to Marie Domingo, the wife of the slain policeman. He also vowed to give the widow a job through the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Mrs. Domingo said that the job offer would be a big help for her to support her three young children — Sophia Ericka (9 years old), Simon (8 years old), and Sean (4 years old).
“Kung may problema ka, tawagan mo lang ako,” President Duterte said to Mrs. Domingo while giving her his business card.
Domingo, a member of the Special Operations Unit (SOU) of the Pasay City Police, was killed after a firefight with four drug suspects in an anti-drug operation in Gil Puyat Avenue on January 4, 2016 (Wednesday) at around five in the afternoon. Domingo, along with PO2 Harley Garcera and PO1 Tim Santos, were deployed for an operation through the help of an informant who catered them to the house of the drug suspects. While the police officers were doing their inspection, the suspects fired successive gunshots that hit Domingo and Garcera.
The two policemen were rushed to the hospital but Domingo was not able to survive.
