Noi Bai International Airport

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrived at the Hanoi International Airport around 4:00 PM (5:00 PM Manila time) for a two-day official visit in Vietnam.

Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam Noel Servigon welcomed the President and his lean Philippine delegation while from the Vietnamese side, Ambassador Truong Trieu Duong and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh were also present.

At the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, General Manager Masahiro Taguchi received the President. Philippine Embassy staff and consulate officials were also present to warmly welcome the visiting Philippine head of state.

President Duterte embarked on this trip to renew the 40-year friendly and diplomatic relations and reaffirm the commitment to work closely with Vietnam in achieving the shared objectives of both countries.
