One of the major landmarks and tourist attractions in the capital city of Bandar Seri Begawan is the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. It is also said to be one of the most beautiful mosques in the Asia Pacific, especially at night when all the lights are on around its 28 domes, which symbolize the 28th Sultan of Brunei, the late Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien.
