President Rodrigo Roa Duterte witnessed the Light Regiment Reaction Unit’s capability demonstration on how to act during counter terrorist operations, such as the Sniper Operations and Close Quarter Combat, during his visit to the 7th Infantry Division (7ID) Headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.

The capability demonstration was performed by the troops belonging to the 3rd Light Reaction Company under the leadership of Captain Oliver Macasantos.

The Light Reaction Regiment (LRR) is a subordinate unit of the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) of the Philippine Army (PA). It is the PA’s premiere counter terrorism force headed by Colonel Alexander Macario together with Brigadier General Danilo Pamonag.
