President Benigno S. Aquino III attended an early morning mass with the Liberal Party (LP) standard bearers at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros.

Accompanying the President were LP’s candidates for the country’s top posts, namely Manuel “Mar” Roxas II and Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo. After the mass, the two went straight to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to file their respective Certificate of Candidacy (COC) as president and vice president for the May 2016 elections.
