Business investors were given the opportunity to ask President Benigno S. Aquino III on questions regarding the stability of the Philippine economy during a business meeting with the two clusters held on the third day of the President’s State Visit to Japan.
The cluster meeting served as an opportunity for the investors to clear issues and address their fears of further expanding or continuing their business interests in the country.
Joining the President during the meeting with the two clusters were Finance (DOF) Secretary Cesar Purisima and Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Gregory Domingo.
Among the topics during the meeting centered on the accomplishments of the Aquino administration such as macroeconomic stability, increased capacity of the local banking industry, the launch of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects, and mobilizing insurance money.
