President Benigno S. Aquino III welcomed His Excellency David John Strachan as the newly-appointed ambassador of New Zealand to the Philippines during the presentation of credentials in Malacañang.

Ambassador Strachan previously served in Indonesia, South Korea, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia.
