President Benigno S. Aquino III accepted the credentials of Thanatip Upatising as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Philippines during the presentation of credentials held in Malacañang.

Before assuming the post, Ambassador Upatising served as envoy to the Royal Thai Embassy in Indonesia.
