President Benigno S. Aquino III led A Million Roses for the World mass in commemoration of the feast of Lady of Lourdes, dubbed as “Filipinos at Prayer: Peace for all Nations” held at the shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus in Pasay City.
During the mass, President Aquino led the Prayer of Entrustment of our country and people to Mother Mary calling for divine guidance.
“You know how strong our desire is and how difficult the task has been, for us to raise up for ourselves, a society of truth and freedom, of genuine justice and solidarity for all, of love and peace… All these we long and work for, but we know we cannot truly bring about, except with God’s gracious guidance…” the President said.

Joining the President are officers and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police and member s of the Cabinet.
