President Benigno S. Aquino III went to two military hospitals and paid a visit to soldiers wounded-in-action (WIA) from various encounters in the country.

President Aquino’s first stop was at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Medical Center in Quezon City, where he met with a number of military men admitted at the Heroes’ Ward.

He then continued at the Army General Hospital in Taguig City to personally engage with at least eleven soldiers confined at the Surgical Ward.

Joining the President during the visit was AFP Chief of Staff General Gregorio Pio Catapang, Jr.
