President Benigno S. Aquino III attended the wake of Elaine Gamboa Cuneta at the Capilla Del Señor along McKinley Road, Makati City.

Mrs. Cuneta was 79 years old and the spouse of the late Mayor Pablo Cuneta of Pasay City. Her daughter, actress Sharon Cuneta, is the wife of former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who is currently the Presidential Assistant for Food Security and Agricultural Modernization.

Mrs. Cuneta passed away due to internal bleeding and complications arising from abdominal surgery.
