President Benigno S. Aquino III convened with 20 other APEC leaders from different economic zones to discuss priorities laid out for this year’s APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM).
The APEC leaders are set to adopt the 22^nd APEC Leaders’ Declaration in its conclusion as they focus on three priorities: Advancing Regional Economic Integration; Promoting Innovative Development, Economic Reform and Growth; and Strengthening Comprehensive Connectivity and Infrastructure Development.
President Aquino is expected to share his views on the said priorities.
