President Benigno S. Aquino III administered the mass oath-taking of the newly promoted star rank officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) held in Malacañan Palace.

Among the 39 officials who took their oath were Police Deputy Director General Leonardo Espina, Police Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac and others.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II was also present during the event.
