On Lenten season, President Benigno S. Aquino III visited the Ninoy Aquino International Airport  (NAIA) Terminals 3 and 4 to personally inspect their operations and security set-up.

Ushered by Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Vicente Guerzon Jr., the President passed-by the following areas: X-ray machines, help desks, check-in counters, terminal fee windows, final security checks, and passengers’ pre-boarding areas (for domestic and international flights).

Simultaneously upon President Aquino’s arrival, eleven flights (Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and PAL Express) with 1,874 passengers were scheduled to depart NAIA Terminal 3. Meanwhile, an additional 230 passengers for the next two flights (Air Asia and Zest) were also scheduled to depart on the same afternoon at NAIA Terminal 4.
