The fuel filling station to be inaugurated by President Benigno S. Aquino III is the first Petron Malaysia station that is actually constructed and not converted from ExxonMobil. It is considered as one of the biggest Petron stations in the whole of Malaysia and is equipped with sixteen fuel dispensers, prayer rooms and Treats convenience store.

Petron Malaysia was established in March 2012 when Petron, a Philippine oil company, penetrated Malaysia through the acquisition of ExxonMobil downstream subsidiaries. Currently, Petron Malaysia has 558 gasoline stations of which 290 are already converted from ExxonMobil to Petron stations.

Petron Malaysia is the 3rd top oil player in the country following Petronas and Shell.
