Amalia Liza “Leo” Francisco is an inspiration to Filipino workers around the world for her hard work and perseverance in achieving her goals.
She started as a household helper to a Malaysian-Chinese employer when she arrived in Malaysia in 1995. Through her effort, dedication, and innate intelligence, Leo’s boss discovered her potentials and offered an accounting position in her company.
Leo concurrently manages being an office worker and President of FWRC, a TESDA-accredited livelihood training facility for distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). She invites trainers and speakers to teach Filipinos who are temporarily confined at the center due to labor issues.
