President Benigno S. Aquino III received His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in a courtesy call at the Malacañan Palace.

Both princes are in the country to lead Bahrain’s triathlon team in the upcoming international triathlon championship on Saturday. Their presence signifies stronger Bahrain-Philippines relations in all fields, especially in sports.

Also present were Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, Honorary Consul General of Bahrain to the Philippines Dr. Amable Aguiluz IX and Special Envoy of the President to the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Amable Aguiluz V.
