President Benigno S. Aquino III visited the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Center, an Australian-based medical facility that specializes in out-patient surgical field operations, established near Tacloban Airport.

Team Leader Dr. Ian Norton and other 45 members manning the site greeted the President and toured with him around the facility.

In his visit, President Aquino also met with some locals seeking immediate surgical care after hospitals devastated by Typhoon Yolanda closed down.

At present, all seven hospitals in Tacloban City have opened its out-patient services with the help of several international medical organizations aiding them in their daily operations.
