A medical mission was conducted by the Physicians for Peace, one of the late Sec. Jesse’s supported non-government organization, in Pinit Barangay Hall Ocampo, Camarines Sur.

Dr. Josephine ‘Penny’ Robredo-Bundoc, a volunteer director of the Physicians for Peace-Philippines and Sec. Jesse’s sibling, together with her colleagues distributed prosthesis and wheelchairs to several persons with disabilities in the town. They also conducted trainings to barangay health workers on how to handle patients with cerebral palsy.

Dr. Bundoc has been a recipient of the 2011 Medical Diplomat Award for her leadership and dedication to the mission.
