Sushant Palakurthi Rao is currently the Senior Director and Head of Asia who is in charge of  developing relationships with industry, government and institutions in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Australasia, Korea and Mongolia, as well as the World Economic Forum’s two annual regional events in East Asia and India, and the four Global Agenda Councils on India, Korea, Pakistan and Southeast Asia, respectively.

He has published several editorials in major Asian newspapers and has co-authored several Forum studies such as the India Competitiveness Review, the Indonesia Competitiveness Review and the India Gender Gap Review.
