Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental

After visiting General Santos City, President Benigno S. Aquino III met with the local leaders and residents of Ozamiz City in the province of Misamis Occidental.

The President imparted in his speech that dialect differences would not hinder the administration’s drive towards “Tuwid na Daan”. He cited the services being commenced in the province as one of the results being yielded in the first three years of his leadership, such as the Ozamiz and Plaridel Port, the Ozamiz Airport, the Ozamiz City Coastal Bypass Road and the Ozamiz-Oroquieta Road.

“Lahat po ng ito ay dahil sa pagtitiwala ng ating mga Boss – ang sambayanang Pilipino – ang nagpunla, nagdilig at patuloy na nagpapalago ng makabuluhang pagbabago,” he said.

In line with the forthcoming national elections, President Aquino called on the Misamisnons to rightfully choose leaders who will sustain the opportunities of their province.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas III joined the President during the event.
