After visiting the community of Toledo City, President Benigno S. Aquino III met with the local leaders of Cebu City, his fourth stop for the day.

An estimated crowd of 15,000 composed of residents from different districts warmly welcomed the President in the capitol of the city. In his speech, President Aquino cited some of the accomplishments being carried out by the “Tuwid na Daan” platform, which includes the construction of the Cebu North Hagnaya Wharf Road, the rehabilitation of the Ouano Avenue and the recent groundbreaking of the Mactan Circumferential Road Widening Project.

Cebu City is dubbed as the “Queen City of the South.” It serves as the center of trade, commerce and education in the Visayas region.
