As Chair of the 9th APEC Transportation Ministerial Meeting being held in Cebu, Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya led the commencement of the forum which aims to discuss significant issues in developing and innovating sustainable transport systems among the APEC economies. Together with the CEOs of the transport industry, Transportation Ministers is expected to come up with a joint statement after the two-day meeting.
