President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 7th National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) Executive Committee (EXECOM) Meeting at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace.

During the meeting, the President reaffirmed the national government’s continued commitment to supporting the reintegration of former rebels through the implementation of the Barangay Development Program (BDP).

The BDP aims to improve the quality of life and foster sustainable development in barangays that have been freed from the influence of communist terrorist groups.

Prior to the meeting, President Marcos Jr. administered the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed NTF-ELCAC EXECOM Members.
