President Rodrigo Roa Duterte spoke before the elementary school principals during the opening of the 37th Principals Training and Development Program and National Board Conference at the SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang Premier, Davao City.

The Philippine Elementary School Principals Association (PESPA) is holding its conference from May 4-6, 2018 anchored on the theme, ‘PESPAns: The Catalyst of Change for a Better 21st Century Educational Management.’

The conference aims to enable PESPA officers, members, and other stakeholders to contribute towards excellence in the education sector. Specifically, it aims to ‘identify the school head’s desired skills on vocal image, his conversational manner, proper posture, and attire for enhanced interpersonal relationship in the workplace; strengthen the 21st century skills of school heads on the areas of critical thinking and in problem solving; enhance knowledge of pertinent legal issues on K to 12, rules on appointments and duties of school heads; and, raise the commitments of participants to implement whatever knowledge and skills gained in the training in their respective regions.’

The PESPA officers, board members, elementary school principals, and teachers in charge of public and private schools nationwide attended the program graced by President Duterte.
