President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. keynoted the 33rd Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) Regular Meeting and Year-end Celebration at the Kalayaan Hall, Malacañan Palace.

During the event, the President received the Council’s annual accomplishment report for 2024 presented by ATC Chairperson and Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Vice Chairperson and National Security Adviser (NSA) Secretary Eduardo Año, and Secretariat Head and National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Director General Eduardo De Leon.

The ATC implements Republic Act (RA) No. 11479 or the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 and assumes the responsibility for the proper and effective implementation of the country’s policies against terrorism.
