President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided over the 24th Cabinet Meeting at the Aguinaldo State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez.

During the meeting, the Cabinet Secretaries talked on the Pasig River Convergence Program presented by Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Benjamin Diokno; efforts to address the concerns raised by the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) by Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III; the closure of Boracay Island by Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Undersecretary Eduardo Año, and Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Wanda Corazon Teo; the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit by Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade and Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (PAV) Michael Lloyd Dino; and the proposed National Council against Child Labor by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

Moreover, Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Chairperson Eduardo Del Rosario tackled the updates on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Marawi City, while DENR Secretary Cimatu gave a report on the status of forests in Agusan.
