President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with his fellow Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Leaders and Premier Li Keqiang of the People’s Republic of China, posed for a group photo during the 22nd ASEAN–China Summit held at Nonthaburi, Thailand.

During their meeting, the leaders discussed the advancement of the ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership, promotion of regional connectivity, smart cities network, and sustainability in all dimensions.

It was agreed during the Summit that both ASEAN and China shall designate “the year 2020 as the year of ASEAN-China Cooperation on Digital Economy”.
