President Benigno S. Aquino III’s Participation at the 20th ASEAN Summit
and the Celebration of the 45th Anniversary of ASEAN

President Benigno S. Aquino III participates at the 20th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and the Celebration of the 45th Anniversary of ASEAN in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. He joins other leaders of ASEAN member-countries in the discussions of action plans that address current issues and concerns in the region.

The President also meets with the Philippine media covering the summit on April 3 and meets with the Filipino community in Cambodia on his third day of visit here.

Aside from the Philippines and Cambodia, Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are also part of ASEAN.
