President Rodrigo Roa Duterte graced the 2017 Model OFW Family of the Year Awards (MOFYA) at the Malacañan Palace.

The President witnessed the awarding of plaques and checks to the Outstanding Achievement in Community Projects and Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurship MOFYA awardees. He also witnessed the awarding of trophies and checks to national winners under Land-based and Sea-based categories.

Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea handed over the prizes.
