President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. confirmed the approval of the presentation and recommendations made by key government agencies during the 19th National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board Meeting held at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.
The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center discussed the Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF) for PPP projects, a revolving fund institutionalized under the PPP Code of the Philippines aimed at supporting the preparation, structuring, evaluation, procurement, probity management, financial close and monitoring of the PPP projects.
A loan project from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was proposed to provide additional funds to help sustain the PDMF earmarked for the development of robust and well-structured PPP projects in the country through international best practices.
For other PPP projects, the proposed changes and other clarifications in the Parameters, Terms and Conditions (PTCs) regarding the upgrade, expansion, operations and maintenance of the Bohol-Panglao International Airport, as well as of the Laguindingan International Airport, were also discussed.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) likewise presented some of the changes proposed for the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network (LLRN) Project – Phase I, covering the scope and extension of implementation period, among others.
Last on the agenda was the Ad Referendum approval of the Rural Agro-enterprise for Inclusive Development and Growth (request for change in scope).
