President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. presided over the 16th Cabinet Meeting at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

Discussing the Philippines’ economic outlook, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) emphasized that growth will be driven by private investments, supported by reforms, in light of the fiscal consolidations of the government.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Department of Finance (DOF) also presented their respective reports on the country’s inflation, monetary policy and fiscal situation.

Furthermore, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) gave updates on the disbursements and deficit projections for 2024-2028.
