Isabel Chapman is a 38-year US immigrant and comes from a family of educators and hometown leaders in her native Quezon province. She completed her college and legal education in California, as well as International Law program in Cambridge, then landed a job in the US Senate, where she was responsible for creating and publishing the entire record of two impeachment trial committees on two of the federal judges.

Having volunteered with The Waring International Piano Competition since 1995, she decided to parlay her leadership and non-profit fundraising experience as co-founder of the National Alliance of Filipino-Americans (NAFA) in 2010 where she was the former secretary and is the current president. NAFA is a non-profit organization run by volunteers.
