President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. cast his vote for the 2023 Barangay Elections at Precinct 0036A, Cluster Number 0036A in Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School (MMMES), Lacub, Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

There were around 523 registered voters for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) 2023 in Barangay Lacub. The Chief Executive voted for his desired representative—one (1) barangay chairman (Punong Barangay) and seven (7) barangay councilors (Sangguniang Barangay).

After casting his vote, President Marcos Jr. answered questions from the media where he urged his countrymen to exercise their right to vote and to vote wisely. “Huwag ninyong itatapon ang karapatan ninyo na mamili kung sino ang mamumuno doon sainyong mga lugar, sa inyong mga barangay, ” he stated.
