The RTVM Mission

The Presidential Broadcast Staff Radio-Television Malacañang seeks to constantly fulfill its duty to provide daily broadcast coverage of the activities of the President, the First Family, and members of the Cabinet and the Executive Branch; in order to provide the public with adequate and up to date information on the Presidency and the growth and development of the nation.

Structure of PBS – RTVM

The Presidential Broadcast Staff organizational chart reflects the agency’s mission and functions, with Operations as its focal point. Basically, the agency has four principal areas of activity: The Executive OfficeOperations (Media Production Division and Engineering Division), Operations Support (Research and Archives Division), and Staff Support (Administration and Finance Division). Units included under the Media Production Division are: Project Management (compose of Project Officers in-charge of coordination for Presidential coverages), News/Program Writers (in-charge of TV production and News dissemination), Close-in cameramen (Documentation/Coverage team) and Pre-Post Production/Video Transmission section. Under Research and Archives Division are Research and Media Services, Video Library, Transcription Services, and Local and Regional Coordination. Under Administration and Finance are Personnel Services, Security and Communication Services, Utility and Transportation.
