HOW TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO MATERIALS FROM RTVM SERVER:
Before proceeding forward and regardless of whether you use a Mac or PC, please navigate
to http://filezilla-project.org. Depending on the kind of platform that you are using, please
download and install the appropriate FileZilla FTP Client for your use in conjunction
with this guide.
HOW TO ACCESS THE TV SHARE POINT:
Download and upload of files via the FTP protocol using FileZilla, networks will be able to
access the folder TV. The TV share point is the repository of official videos for specific release
to TV stations. You will only be granted read access to the aforementioned share point using
the FTP address 121.58.194.8 in the host field, username tvnetworks with the password
rtvmnews.
Once a successful connection and log in is achieved, you would readily see all the files ready
for download. The same process of dragging and dropping the files to your desktop is the
one that you use in order to initiate the copy process via FTP protocol.
All you have to do is simply open the TV folders and drag the video file you want to your
desktop in order to initiate the transfer of the file via the FTP protocol. File transfer will take
a while depending on the size of the file and the speed of your internet connection.
