President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is set to participate with other global leaders who will convene to discuss climate change in Copenhagen, Denmark from December 16 to 18, 2009.

Dubbed as the biggest convention after Kyoto Protocol, the leaders of the United Nations Climate Change Conference will iron out platforms to reduce global warming emissions and ultimately chart a course that avoids the most severe impacts of climate change.  The Chief Executive is expected to deliver her message at the Opening of High-Level Segment with United Nations Secretary General, other Heads of State and government ministers.  The President is also expected to meet with  the  Filipino Community in Denmark and business delegations from Copenhagen.
