President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo visits Cairo, also known as the Triumphant City of Egypt, on May 2, where she is scheduled to meet with President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, the longest serving President of the Egyptian Republic.

President Arroyo will also attend a Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilique Notre Dame de Fatima in Heliopolis and will visit the Egyptian Museum, where greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities are stored.

After her official visit to Cairo, President Arroyo is set to leave for Damascus, Syria for a State Visit.(SNN/RJU)
